Kyle A. Hammonds, University of Oklahoma

 Kyle A. Hammonds (MS, University of North Texas; BS, Texas A&M University – Commerce) is a doctoral student and teaching assistant at the University of Oklahoma. His research is broadly in cultural studies, with emphases in cross-cultural communication and popular culture. In the cross-cultural track, he specializes in studying the role of myth in extremist group messaging. In the pop culture track, he applies theoretical frameworks from communication rhetoric, narrative studies, and folklore to various tv, cinema, and comics artifacts.
