Author Biography

April Durham, UC Riverside

April Durham is a lecturer in the Women’s Studies Department at UC Riverside. Her research investigates complex subjectivities arising in multi-actor, site-specific creative collaborative practice, considering its importance to the ongoing formations of global, networked identity; inclusive, flexible communities; and models of creative and affective labor that change relationships to precarity. She is also a visual artist and creative writer, preferring to work collaboratively wherever possible. She has exhibited and published widely in the US and Europe. She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from UC Riverside and an MFA from Art Center in Pasadena, California.
