Author Biography

Hyun Tae (Calvin) Kim, USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism

Hyun Tae (Calvin) Kim is a first-year doctoral student at USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. His research interests span public diplomacy, networks, and organizational communication. He is particular interested in how organizations engage in communication on their futures, as well as the influence of organizational identities and cultures on such communicative processes. Prior to Annenberg, he received his Master of International Affairs (MIA) degree at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), where he studied social policy and communication. He received his B.A. in Political Science at the University of Chicago. Between Chicago and Columbia, he served as a language specialist officer at the Republic of Korea Joint Chiefs of Staffs, where he worked on international cooperation and strategic planning initiatives of the Korean military.
